Dr. Mark Levy is a Board-certified neurosurgeon, specializing in the correction of spondylolisthesis, reconstructive tumor/cancer procedures, management of spinal fractures, deformity correction of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery, vertebroplasty, the management of failed fusions, prosthetic disc techniques and spinal microsurgery.
Practicing in the Central Valley since 1999, Dr. Levy most recently served as Assistant Clinical Professor at University Neurosciences Institute affiliated with University of California, San Francisco-Fresno.
Dr. Levy completed a Neurosurgery Spinal Fellowship at the University of South Florida, where he also completed his neurological surgery residency training. In addition, he is a Neurosurgery Fellow at UNC-Chapel Hill in North Carolina. He earned a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine at Atlanta, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Columbia University in New York.
“My brother was a neurosurgeon so that increased my interest in also becoming a physician,” he says. “I enjoy helping others through my love of detailed mechanical work and solving complex problems.”
During his free time, Dr. Levy enjoys outdoor sports, fitness, cooking and family activities.
