Meet Dr. Simons

Robert L. Simons, MD


Board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Robert Simons has practiced specialty medicine in Fresno, California for over 35 years. Dr. Robert brings a high level of expertise and patient satisfaction. Dr. Simons’ clinical interests include intracranial surgery, spinal surgery and microdiscetomy.

After completing undergraduate studies at University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Simons earned his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School. He received residency training in both general surgery and neurosurgery from the University of Oregon.

Dr. Simons belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

A highly respected physician, Dr. Simons received the Patients’ Choice Award, the On-Time Doctor Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition. He and his wife reside in Fresno and frequently travel with their children to the Northwest for visits with their grandchildren.
